As you are probably guessing from the title of this post, Cougar Legs is headed to SXSW 2010 in the great town of Austin, TX, which inspired the true events of “Where the Red Fern Grows,” where we will headline the Bocumast Day Party on March 18, 2010. Many of our Austin fans have contacted us about this event, so if you are planning on coming please prepare yourself for a montage of hairless pets, armless tees, and stories of spread eagles.

I hope you wear your black boots cause the brown ones are “okay,” but the black ones really bring out the color in your eyes.

Who’s invited you ask? Well, you, of course…and all your friends and relatives. Bring em.

All the proceeds will go to help Bocumast Artists, like Cougar Legs, get to SXSW 2010.

Yesterday, I found myself in a dreamlike state, floating on mounds of nipple-y pillows, bouncing about like a child at times, but worried about how I was going to get down. I didn’t see any ladders or ropes…nothing that would even denote evidence of a way out of this situation I was in. My dreamstate continued and I realized that I wasn’t in a dreamlike state at all, but an actual dream…so I turned to television to help me out. I thought if I could make myself wake myself up by having my sleeping self turn on the television and turn the volume up, then I could get out of the dream that was keeping me trapped among these bulbous mounds of tasty nipple goo statues. So I told my sleeping self that there was a shark by my bed and that I would have to get a broom to kill it, but that the broom looked like the television remote control. After a few attempts I found myself awake after my left hand had grabbed a cup of water and began beating the alarm clock with it. The water went everywhere waking up my dog who began biting my arm. I spent the next 2 hours desperately trying to get back to sleep so that I could bounce around in all that nipple-y goodness with no end or no way out.

Moral of the story:
come to Meadowlark Bar on Friday February 26 to find out. use the passcode:

We have decided to post the Cougar Legs performance from The Underground Music Showcase 2009 this past summer. The move was prompted by all the fans in the hospital right now that may not make it to an actual formal release of this performance. Good luck guys!
